Ron Richey — Demolition in Eugene, OR
Sam, Ron, & Dan

Ron Richey serves as Chief Executive Officer of Staton Companies. Ron operated his own site work company until 1983 when he was hired by Staton Companies as an estimator/supervisor. After many years of exhibiting excellent leadership skills and working very hard to make the company prosperous, he was made a partner in April of 1995. Ron recently completed 7 years of service to the National Demolition Association (NDA). He was a director for six years and a Committee Chair for seven years. Ron acquired full ownership of Staton companies in April 2017.

Sam Richey serves as President of Staton Companies, where he spearheads the company's DOT and industrial mill demolition work. Sam leads the firm's most demanding projects — bridge and overpass removals under full interstate closures, where the structure has to come down and the highway reopen within tight, unforgiving windows. That same precision carries into Staton's industrial mill work, where Sam directs full-scale decommissioning projects requiring careful sequencing, strict safety controls, and close coordination with agencies and owners. Under his leadership, Staton has built a reputation for taking on the complex, high-stakes demolition work that others won't.


Dan Richey serves as Vice President of Staton Companies and heads the company's commercial and special projects demolition division. Dan oversees projects that demand creative problem-solving — selective structural demolition, occupied-site work, and jobs with unique logistical or environmental challenges. He works closely with owners and general contractors from estimate through final grade to keep every project safe, on schedule, and on budget.
